Hurt & Proffitt provided surveying for six miles of boundary line located in Rockbridge County in the Goshen area. Research included going back to original Commonwealth of Virginia Land Patents (dated as far back as 1794) in order to establish current property lines. Project conditions dictated meeting with several adjoining land owners to arrange access to VDGIF property lines as well as meeting to discuss and resolve boundary lines that had come into question through years of confusion and conflict Final boundary lines were painted in accordance to Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries’ requirements and a plat of the six miles was completed and recorded in Rockbridge County.
