Testimonials

“Throughout the $2.3M dollar advanced site work portion of the contract the civil design has been both timely and accurate with minimal changes and corrections. Hurt and Proffitt has been responsive to the Authority’s needs and very helpful in negotiations and planning during the design phase ofthe project. Additionally, Hurt and Proffitt has been able to provide other needed services such as Surveying, Environmental Monitoring, Material Testing and Construction Inspection. They are to be commended for their work in developing a very difficult tract in an undesirable terrain into a useable and desirable site.”
Elton Blackstock,  Adminstrator,  Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority

“We have been very pleased in our decision of selecting Hurt and Proffitt, as they have been very proactive not only in the design aspect of the water system upgrades, but also in securing the necessary funding to complete the project… The firm is very knowledgeable and professional and have worked extremely well with myself, Town Council, and Town staff.”
John S. Rorer, Mayor, Town of Goshen

“Though our association with your firm began as just a $25,000 planning grant, it turned into a much bigger project with the awarding of stimulus ARRA Funds. This would not have happened if the PER had not met all of the qualifications of VDH… We are extremely grateful to be working with Hurt & Proffitt engineer Brian Cossman as the project manager. He has the expertise to know how to analyze the issues, then knows how to make decisions in order to make it happen.”
Lynn G. Frith, Town Manager and Chief of Police, Town of Boones Mill

“In 2005, the Town of Charlotte Court House selected Hurt & Proffitt, Inc. to provide engineering services for a large water improvements project… We have had a good working relationship with Hurt & Proffitt, Inc.
