Environmental

Environmental Engineering plays an important role in the planning, design and construction of projects ranging in size from single-family homes to entire neighborhoods, from towns to cities, schools to state universities. The goal is to create sustainable developments that meet the needs of citizens now and in the future while minimizing the human impact on the natural environment.

The Environmental Engineering Department at Hurt & Proffitt is staffed by geologists, soil scientists, AOSE’s, environmental scientists, and technicians who have the expertise needed to work through the maze of environmental research, testing, compliance, permitting and reporting mandated by local, state, and federal regulations and required by today’s environmentally conscious citizens.

Our professionals recognize that no two projects are alike, and take pride in addressing each project’s unique challenges and objectives. We strive to give clients innovative, cost-effective design and management solutions that maximize the full potential of clients’ limited capital resources.
