Good Catch / Near Miss

    Definitions

    Good Catch - Noticed something was wrong and notified someone to correct it before it resulted in a Near Miss or Accident.

    Near Miss - An event that did not result in damage, injury or death – but had the potential to do so. Only a fortunate break in the chain of events prevented an injury, fatality of damage.

    Accident - An unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, resulting in damage, injury or death. (Please report accidents to the safety manager.)
