New Federal Courthouse and U.S. Post Office in downtown Lynchburg occupies a full city block at 11th, 12th, Clay, and Court Streets. This was a $15M project.
Hurt & Proffitt provided all surveying (topo, boundary, ALTA, construction), site planning and grading, stormwater management and erosion control, environmental engineering including Phase I and II site assessments, asbestos, lead and radon testing, and utility design coordination with the City of Lynchburg for the project. The firm also provided the extensive geotechnical investigations due to the grade changes and soil/rock substructure on the site, materials testing, and the landscape plan.
