Old Dominion University – Athletic Administration Building Expansion

The project consisted of improvements that provided physical strengthening and conditioning spaces and staff offices along with rehabilitation, training, and other spaces. Construction stakeout crews provided control to connect the 11,330 square foot addition to the west side of the existing building and replace the existing plaza. An extended dry detention facility was created for stormwater quality and quantity that included runoff from a portion of the existing building as well as the new addition.

Hurt & Proffitt provided the topographic survey, CAD drawings, construction administration, and stakeout services. Construction materials were reviewed prior to purchase and field engineering support was provided to resolve conflicts on site during construction.
